Experience Small-Town Living in Broadway

Located right on the Lee and Harnett County line, Broadway is a tiny town with tons of potential—and some even call it "Mayberry incarnate". This cozy community is known for its unique sense of timelessness and one-of-a-kind small-town lifestyles, but living here doesn't mean you have to sacrifice any everyday conveniences you'll find in larger suburbs.

Thanks to the addition of countless new neighborhoods and businesses, Broadway has transformed into an up-and-coming destination that truly offers something for everyone. If you're looking to build a home in one of North Carolina's most charming communities, we'd love to lend a helping hand.

Spotlights of Broadway

Downtown Broadway

Don't be fooled by Downtown Broadway's size—this district is home to some of the town's most popular shops and eateries. Here, you'll find everything from the Broadway Town Hall to delicious Mexican restaurants, as well as the North Carolina Veterans Memorial Pavilion.

Watson Lake

Spanning almost 14 acres, Watson Lake is a hidden gem located right outside of Downtown Broadway. This serene natural oasis is ideal for just about any outdoor recreation, including kayaking, picnics, or hiking. It's also just a stone's throw from the excitement of Broadway Town Park.

Broadway Our Way

Every spring, the town of Broadway comes together for Broadway Our Way, a festival that celebrates the town's favorite vendors and performers. This is the best place to enjoy local cuisine, view classic cars, and boogie to live music all night long. The event even has a barbecue cook-off and cornhole tournament!

More Details on the Area

Shopping & dining

Though Broadway doesn't have many major shopping centers, all of your everyday conveniences are just a stone's throw away. Broadway features its own grocery store, gas stations, and a few smaller strip malls—however, even more options await in nearby Sanford and Lillington. Want to sample some of Broadway's best cuisine? You'll find some tasty bites at Los Charros Mexican and Hollywood Pizza & Subs.

Outdoor recreation

Broadway's location near the North Carolina countryside makes it easy to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Aside from Watson Lake, Broadway is also home to Lett Family Park and Broadway Park. For those looking for a more rugged adventure, try heading to nearby Raven Rock State Park, which offers everything from scenic vistas to rushing waterfalls.

Public schools

Although Broadway straddles the line between Lee County and Harnett County, all children living in town are zoned for Lee County Public Schools. Broadway Elementary is the town's only school, and older students can choose between three middle schools and two high schools. Broadway also has two private schools and is just five minutes from Central Carolina Community College.
